Treatment in the backend
The basic concept is that downloadable documents can be easily maintained via FTP without having to log in to the admin interface. However, the plugin has an interface where downloadable documents can also be managed from the WordPress admin page.
Select „Media/Downloads” or „Settings/Download Settings” from the menu on the left to access the interface. The following window will appear:
Double-click the folders in the window to access it. Click on the document to download it.
Shortcode
At the top left of the window, you will see the generated shortcode to paste the current folder. Use the selection box next to it to select the template. (If it changes, the shortcode will also change.) The button next to it Clicking the plugin will copy the shortcode to the clipboard.
Order
The order in which the items are displayed is „Set Order”. You can change this by simply grabbing the item and dragging it to the right place.
Rename
Rename items by clicking the icon in the lower right corner, or in groups in the checkbox in the lower left corner. and click on the button, then enter a new name in the pop-up window.
If the „Rename file” option in the options is enabled, rename the file to the new label. (Converts the label so that the file name contains only lowercase letters and numbers of the English ABC.) When renaming in a group, file names are given a counter. If you rename the file, it will be maintained by the plugin in the descript.ion file. (If you need to create the file.)
Upload
You can upload files in bulk in the block at the bottom of the page. The number of possible files and the individual or combined size of the uploaded files are determined by the settings on the server.
